| Allegations of teen sex abuse by three Hollywood execs denied | | One of three Hollywood executives accused of sexually abusing a teenaged boy in the 1990s on Tuesday flatly denied the allegations, while an attorney for the second said they were "demonstrably untrue" and a representative for the third called them "without merit." Garth Ancier, Gary Goddard and David Neuman were named in separate lawsuit complaints on Monday of being part of an underage sex ring and performing sexual acts with Michael Egan, 31, who was an aspiring teen actor in Los Angeles at the time. Eagan filed a similar suit against "X-Men" movie director Bryan Singer on April 16. "All of the allegations made by the plaintiff against Garth Ancier are demonstrably untrue, and we are confident the courts will agree when the evidence is presented," Ancier's attorney, Louise Ann Fernandez, said in an emailed statement.

| Pirates raid Japanese oil tanker off Malaysia, kidnap 3 crew | | | Armed pirates raided a Japanese oil tanker off the coast of Malaysia and abducted three crew members, Malaysian maritime police said on Wednesday, underscoring increasing threats to shipping in one of the world's busiest waterways. The incident in the Malacca Strait, a route for about a quarter of the world's seaborne oil trade, has fuelled fears piracy could be on the rise in the area and drive up ship insurance premiums. Six pirates in a speedboat boarded the Naninwa Maru 1 at 1.00 a.m. local time on Wednesday off the coast of west Malaysia, Maritime Police Commander Abdul Aziz Yusof told Reuters. The Japanese tanker, headed for Myanmar from Singapore, had Indonesian, Thai, Myanmar and Indian crew members. |

Ltd, the company that operated the vessel. The prosecutors' office declined to comment and Reuters correspondents at the church in Seoul said it had been locked. Last Wednesday's accident looks set to be South Korea's worst maritime disaster in 21 years in terms of loss of life.

| Benfica and Juventus meet after 21-year wait | | (Reuters) - Benfica and Juventus, two great clubs hoping to end long waits for a European trophy, meet for the first time in more than 20 years in their Europa League semi-final first leg on Thursday. Hosts Benfica, who have just won their domestic league, have not lifted a continental trophy since winning the old European Cup in 1962. Juventus, on course for a third successive Serie A title, have not added any major European silverware to their trophy cabinet since the Champions League in 1996. Despite their long traditions in European football, the teams have met only twice before, in the 1968 European Cup semi-finals and the 1992/93 UEFA Cup quarter-finals, when the current Juventus coach Antonio Conte played in both legs of a 4-2 aggregate win for the Italians.

| GM seeks U.S. court protection against ignition lawsuits | | Plaintiffs suing the company also filed a proposed class action lawsuit in Manhattan bankruptcy court on Monday, seeking an order declaring that GM cannot use the bankruptcy protection to absolve itself from liabilities. The faulty ignition switch has been linked to at least 13 deaths and the recall of 2.6 million GM vehicles. GM emerged from bankruptcy protection in 2009 as a different legal entity from the so-called old GM. Under those terms, the "new GM" shed liability for incidents predating its exit from bankruptcy, and any lawsuit involving pre-bankruptcy issues must be brought against what remains of old GM.
