Brown, 24, had spent the weekend at Los Angeles County's aging Men's Central Jail. He was arrested last Friday when he was dismissed from a rehabilitation facility, triggering a violation of the singer's court-ordered treatment. | Suspected Boston bomber shouldn't see autopsy photos, feds say | | Federal prosecutors want to prevent suspected Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev from seeing the autopsy photographs of his four alleged victims, unless the pictures are used at his trial, according to court documents filed on Monday. Tsarnaev's lawyer, Miriam Conrad, said she had not yet seen the motion and could not comment. Prosecutors say Tsarnaev and his brother, Tamerlan, placed two homemade pressure-cooker bombs at the finish line of the Boston Marathon last year, killing three people, including an eight-year-old boy, and injuring more than 260 in the worst attack on U.S. soil since September 11, 2001. The motion to block Tsarnaev's access to the autopsy photographs is the latest in a flurry of filings ahead of the 20-year-old's November trial on terrorism charges.

In a statement issued by Tamil Nadu's chief electoral officer till March 16, Rs.100,184,204 in cash and sarees, jewelleries and other non-cash items valued Rs.10,919,810 have been seized. According to the commission, various steps have been taken like forming flying squads, static surveillance teams in the state to curb bribing of voters during general elections. |

Ravi Teja, son of former minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, and his friend Indrajet first created a scene at the private bar and later abused and manhandled an official of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), while in an inebriated condition, on the premises of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) early Monday. Srinivasa Rao, who was infrastructure minister in Kiran Kumar Reddy's cabinet, recently quit the Congress and joined Telugu Desam Party (TDP). |
| Munich state prosecutors not appealing Hoeness conviction | | MUNICH (Reuters) - Munich state prosecutors said on Monday they would not seek an appeal against the 3-1/2 year jail sentence against Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness for tax evasion. Hoeness, who was convicted last Thursday, said on Friday he would accept the prison term for evading 27 million euros in taxes and resigned as president and chairman of Bayern Munich, the club he made into one of the world's most successful football dynasties.
