Young "Chavista" lawmaker killed in Venezuela

Robert Serra and his partner, Maria Herrera, were found dead in his home in the poor La Pastora neighborhood of the capital, Caracas, state news agency AVN reported. Philips Electronics loses $467 mln patent verdict to Masimo

Shares of Masimo closed 12.9 percent higher, rising $2.74 to $24.02 on the Nasdaq. Jurors in Wilmington, Delaware needed less than a day of deliberations before ruling in favor of Irvine, California-based Masimo, following a two-week trial. ...




Greenland votes to hold parliamentary election in November

By Sabina Zawadzki REUTERS - Greenland's parliament voted on Wednesday to hold an election on Nov. 28 after Prime Minister Aleqa Hammond took a temporary leave of absence over a spending scandal and the opposition lured enough of her supporters to gain a majority. The 31-seat assembly voted to hold the election, leader of opposition Sara Olsvig told Reuters. Olsvig's party holds a good chance of winning, polls show, and replacing Hammond who had been prime minister since April of last year. ...
