| Arrested officials banned from soccer for 90 days | |  ZURICH (Reuters) - FIFA executive committee members Juan Angel Napout and Alfredo Hawit have been suspended from soccer for 90 days after they were arrested in Switzerland, the ethics committee of the sport's governing body said on Friday. The two were arrested at a Zurich hotel on Thursday morning after an indictment was issued by the United States Department of Justice for charges of racketeering, conspiracy and corruption. The Supreme Court on Thursday upgraded the 29-year-old athlete's sentence to murder from "culpable homicide", South Africa's equivalent of manslaughter, for which he had received a five-year sentence. | No warning signs before California couple's deadly rampage - lawyer | |  The couple accused of killing 14 people at a holiday party in California gave no indication of their plans ahead of the deadliest mass shooting in the United States in three years, a lawyer for the deceased shooters' family said on Friday. Syed Rizwan Farook, 28, and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, 27, were killed in a shootout with police hours after the Wednesday massacre at the Inland Regional Center social services agency in San Bernardino, about 60 miles (100 km) east of Los Angeles.
