The raids came as fighting between security forces and PKK militants spread to new areas in southeast Turkey, with tanks, helicopters and armoured cars deployed after a suicide bombing that killed 37 people in the capital, Ankara. Developer Mircea Voskerician sued Zuckerberg in 2014, contending the CEO agreed to purchase his rights to a parcel adjacent to Zuckerberg's Palo Alto, California property. As part of the deal, Voskerician claimed Zuckerberg agreed to introduce Voskerician to friends who could promote his real estate business, but failed to do so.

Obama is searching for a replacement for long-serving conservative Justice Antonin Scalia, who died on Feb. 13. With Scalia's death, the court is divided 4-4 between conservatives and liberals.

| Thai police charge executives after deadly bank accident | |  Two executives at a fire-fighting system supplier have been charged with negligence after an accident in which eight people were killed at the headquarters of Siam Commercial Bank, Thai police said on Wednesday. Contractors working on an upgrade to the building's chemical fire extinguishers late on Sunday accidentally triggered an extinguisher, the bank said, releasing a chemical retardant that may have starved the area of oxygen. Police charged Napong Suksanguan and Adisorn Poda, executive directors at fire fighting systems firm Mega Planet Co Ltd, with negligence leading to injury and death, said Panudech Sukvong, head of a police station near the accident site.

| Mumbai dance bars to reopen amid worries trafficking of women may rise | |  By Rina Chandran MUMBAI (Thomson Reuters Foundation) - After a 10-year hiatus, dance bars are set to reopen in Mumbai and Maharashtra state with activists warning women and girls could be trafficked and abused in these venues but bar owners arguing this is legimitate, needed work. Maharashtra in 2005 suspended the licences of hundreds of bars and hotels that featured skimpily dressed women dancing to Bollywood tunes on a small stage for male customers. When the bars were shut in 2005, about 75,000 women were estimated to be working there and bar owners said the women were earning a legitimate living.
